At Dentistry Making a Difference, we are looking for Patient Experience Specialist.  Some offices refer to this position as a Dental Assistant. We believe Patient Experience Specialist is more fitting because the patient experience is more important than the dentist.

Boring but Important Stuff:

  • Full time position, 30-40 hours a week.
  • All training can be done on site.
  • No previous experience necessary.
  • $15.50 - $20.50 an hour, depending on experience.

What is a Patient Experience Specialist? The duties involved are extensive. Some dental offices prefer to refer to you as a Dental Assistant but to use, that title does not depict an accurate representation of the position. Your number one duty is to ensure the experience of the patient is a positive one. Thus, Patient Experience Specialist it is!

Patient Experience Specialist

  • Ensure that every single patient that walks through our doors has a positive experience.
  • Be a positive and smiling face for all those around.
  • Assist the doctor in performing necessary treatment.
  • Call patients and coordinate future appointments.
  • Maintain organized and clean work area.

History of Dentistry Making a Difference:

Dentistry Making a Difference is a group of dental practices that was co-founded by Tanner Applegate and Dr. Benjamin Bassett back in early 2016. The vision of these two was to be able to create a dental group that was known for the good that it does.

Since the first office in June of 2016, the company has experienced unimaginable growth.  In less then 12 months, Dentistry Making a Difference has been able to grow to five locations, with plans to expand to the sixth location in October of 2017. That is over a 600% growth in less than a year!

We DO NOT talk about the growth of the company to brag about it. Far from it.  Instead, we talk about our growth to show as an example that there others like you that, in fact, desire to make a difference. There really are people out there that care more about others than they do about themselves and they want to be a part of a company that believes the same. This is seen in the lives of our patients, staff, and communities that surround us. It is due to this that we have been able and will continue to be able to grow.
